No servers associated with account (again!)

anyone help us out with this (think its a mysql prob but cannot figure out
where)

VSD 1.4.8 - and VSDWebAdmin1.4.5 (maybe this is the problem?)

Using the webadmin scripts without mod_auth_mysql but with the vsdauth.phtml
from the faq

we have it set up on a VS not the host

we've got the webadmin working so it asks for authorization when we login
but then

'No servers associated with account'

we've added the various mysql entries using both phpMyAdmin and command line
for  vs and added the siteuser and made the right link siteuser to vs - but
still the same

any help much appreciated
