Installing packages with RPM

Hi,
 Suppose I'm a VS user and want to install MYSQL with
rpm, how can I do that? theres no rpm binary in VSs
/bin , I copied rpm binary from primary VS host to the
VS but its giving problems like non-existance of rpm
db ,etc. I installed downloaded freevsd-skelxx !!
