1) Are you sure you filled out the fields correctly?...
The fields in the vs table are as follows..
id - leave blank (auto incremented numeric primary key)
vs - VS name
fqdn - Fully Qualified Domain Name of VS
host - Fully Qualified Domain Name of Host server
ip - IP address of VS
vstype - Not used by scripts but set to 'VS'
date - Date and time on which record was added to table
status - Not used by scripts but set to 'LIVE'
2) Did you copy the database included in the WebAdmin scripts or did you
create it yourself? I had problems simply copying it and eventually gave up
and created it from scratch.

I have... mod_auth_mysql seems to be configured fine, as I can login
using testname/testpasswd. I ran the build-symlinks.sh script, the VS is
inserted in the database (and shows as 'online' with the green icon).

That one's fixed now... I copied the httpd.conf from my host Apache
install and changed a few things in there... the httpd.conf that freevsd
created for me didn't work at all, but my own does ;-)
