If you installed from source, (and ran vsd-install) vsd.conf should have
been created as "/usr/local/etc/vsd/vsd.conf". The RPM version should
be in "/etc/vsd/vsd.conf". If not, I think we've got a bug on our
hands.

Hi,

I'm not working locally, and after checking the vsd.conf it hadn;t been
created.

Regards

Tom

The first time you ran vsd-vsbatch.pl, did it actually pause and sound
like it was doing something (assuming you were working locally ;-)?

Sometimes, I've had problems with "vsdadm vs_create" not adding but not
giving an error. Check vsd.conf and make sure that the VS you created
with "vsdadm vs_create" is mentionned there (I think this is all that
vsdadm vs_create achieves)

What version of FreeVSD are you running?
Did you compile from source or are u using an RPM?
Have you created your own skel (vsd-genskel.pl) or used a prebuilt one
(in which case, which one)?
What version of RedHat are you running?

[root@development sbin]# ./vsd-vsbatch.pl
[root@development sbin]# ./vsboot --start
Segmentation fault
[root@development sbin]#

I issued the ./vsd-vsbatch.pl command which returned no errors, as you
can
see above, but still the
"Segmentation fault" error.

Did you execute vsd-vsbatch.pl? You have to excute the command in order
to
 reflect the virtual server creation.

just type:
vsd-vsbatch.pl
