I'd love to see FriCAS under GPL. When other people benefit from my code, I want others to also let me benefit from their code. That is best ensured by GPL. I actually thought of putting tex.spad under GPL, since there is basically no original code left. But that would have had more impact on the whole of FriCAS and I didn't want to raise the GPL question at the moment. The GPL license of fricasmath.sty does not have any impact whatsoever on the rest of the FriCAS code. BTW, I currently included tensor.sty. I don't actually know whether you would like to have this in FriCAS. a) It is under the LaTeX Project Public License. b) Maybe to be complete, one should distribute also tensor.dtx. c) Maybe it should not distributed at all with FriCAS (but then \ALTSUPERSUB would have to be implemented differently or it doesn't work if the user doesn't have tensor.sty in his LaTeX installation. Maybe add a test to configure.ac and tell the user how to install it. I also require breqn.sty, but that seems to be in a standard TeXLive distribution nowadays. Since I am probably unable to work on cleaning up the tex.spad patch anyway within the next days, I don't think it will make it into the new release. It's a pity, but from the reaction on the mailing list, there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in it.
