I can access many other usenet groups using outside usenet server without having to login to google.
For example I use now nntp.aioe.org, which is open free usenet server. I use it from my thunderbird application. But I am not able to find this usenet group (Fricas) listed in that server and I do not know why. Is it possible to access this news group without having to login to google account? I find the interface of direct google groups very clunky and do not understand why I have to have an account at google in order to write here. Any one knows of different method to access this group from outside google?
