I've been using Linux for almost 8 years now, but I've recently
discovered a longing for a Windows tool. Hyperterm has some features
like capturing the screen and built in file transfer that I'd like to
see in a Linux terminal. I can get some things from minicom, but what I
really want is a terminal program that does telnet, ssh, serial and
possibly tn5250 (IBM iSeries) along with text capture and file transfers.
I don't get it, why does the terminal program need to do telnet, SSH
etc? It just shows you a GUI login prompt? I don't get the advantage.

I've done some searching on Freshmeat and Google and haven't found what
I'm wanting. Anyone have suggestions on ones to try?
