On the other hand, every company understands that TJX is still in business, and didn't take all *that* big a hit on their stock price. Reputational risk for computer security will start actually *mattering* once a well-known company takes a big enough hit on a security issue that they end up bankrupt. Till then, nobody *really* gives a flying #$#*& in a rolling donut about it.
