Wow, me too! Glad to know there's at least one other person out there that does the
same. Did ya see that BBEdit 6.0 is out?

Yep, same kinda setup here. Two NT boxes (one for CF 4.0, one for CF 4.5), one Win95
(to film the construction out my window) and my G3 (with its dual 19" monitors...all
the NT-only suckers are jealous. :)

Until Allaire fixes the following Studio irritations, BBEdit will still be my editor
of choice:

1) Fix the damned text selection for long lines. If you have a really long line of
text that extends beyond the right edge of the window, and try to select part of that
line (say, from character 10 to a character not currently in view) by clicking and
holding down the mouse and dragging to the right, 999 times out of 1000 it'll jump
back to the left because you didn't stay exactly on the line. I know i can just click
at character 10 and then shift-click where i want the selection to end, but i
shouldn't have to. Codewarrior--and every program i've ever seen on the Mac--do it
right.

2) Allow me to split a window to view two parts of the same file at a time (BBedit
does this, but Codewarrior does it better). Heck, at least dump the single-document
interface at let me see two *files* at a time!

3) Give me an area greater than 2 pixels wide at the beginning of a line to click to
place the cursor at the beginning of the line (and not select the whole line!). And
even the line selection is stupid--it ignores the carriage return!

4) Allow me to save search (and replace) patterns

I could go on, but no one will care. CF Studio with all it's fancy buttons and
auto-completion is just a crutch for the weak ;) You go, Russel!
