Agreed! This is the true power of Acrobat documents. I urge
anyone creating documents in this format to make them easier
for the user to actually use by making them active
documents. Without active linking from a Table of Contents
(and an Index, if supplied) a PDF document is only useful
for printing.

For those who may not know, Ventura Publisher makes this
process nearly automatic and painless. With an active TOC
and Index in a Ventura Publisher document, the export to PDF
creates all the links automatically.
