I've had problems with Verity solved in the past by going directly to their
site and searching their knowledge base. Seems like they now make it only
available to their own customers, if you do find a way in do let us know as
it was a good resource.
There's lots of undocumented (by Allaire) features of the Verity 97 search
engine that were covered rather well by the Verity KB.
Good luck,
Noam

Subject: OT: Verity question
For any of you who use verity, have you ever had any E2-0531 errors
in your
log file? I cannot figure out why it is not indexing certain
queries but
has no problems with others. I've had many collections running
successfully
in the past and this is the first time I've seen this problem.
Of course allaire does not have a knowledge base that has
explanation of the
error codes. Searching their forums for the answer only yielded
results of
other people having the same problem (but their question was not
answered).
Any help would of course be greatly appreciated.
