Newbies Perspective:
I'm still trying to grasp Fusebox....even though I've been slowly using
pieces of it for a while now...not "everything" has clicked yet. So when I
heard about Extended Fusebox I was like, "Ah sh*t I haven't even gotten
rolling on the basics yet..." hehe.
One thing that's slowing me down are the "variations" in style when doing
Fusebox. To a more advanced developer it doesn't seem like a big deal but
you have to remember the peeps starting out...It'll throw them off course
real quick....(and YES I know what yall mean when you say "think for urself"
in the Fusebox book ;)
For example...I've been trying to learn by example by looking at a few
sample applications. Well crap they all do things "a little different" and
I'm left sitting there thinking.."Hhhmm well is this better than that way?
Why? If not will I get screwed down the road cause I didn't do it like the
other guy did? HHhhmm..."
Stuff like...
Where do my query files go? In the index or ACT files?
Should there be ANY logic in the index switch aside from the switch itself?
URL files only be in the index ?
Just a few examples...HHmm...I was just thinking...What if I wrote all these
little "insignificant" questions in one email and see if peeps can answer?
Maybe that can be the "Newbie FAQ" ? ;-)
