Yes, that is excellent thinking. Could we take this over to fbsteer so
we don't make this list too noisy? We have lots of corporate folks who
will get in trouble with PHBs if the traffic gets too much.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Modular, maybe even with an add-in API?

Personally I was really excited about the security concepts Steve/Hal
were coming up with a few months back that led to the arguments over
Permissions and roles - and then it all went quiet.

I think we've got to be careful about pumping the core files with stuff
that just wouldn't get used. An interesting idea would be something
along the lines of how Apache works, in that it's extensible. Being able
to plug in modules into the core files would be something very
neat...it's like the SESconverter, some use it, some don't have a need
for it. Possibly having a config file for the fusebox which somehow
incorporates these extensions into the core files and opens up
additional variables would be very neat -
DISCLAIMER: These are just thoughts I'm having whilst I'm typing,
nothing more!

Let's keep the core nice and trimmed...the way it should be :)

John.
