Isn't the problem one of not knowing the difference between "standing under"
(understand) and 'comprehending' which is a formal position as opposed to
"knowing" which is a position like talking and walking, eating, etc. (an
action). One is a learned instantaneous correct response to a problematic
that arises while the other is a simple comprehension of how the problematic
arose and what it's component parts are (objective). Our education is
filled with the latter while the realm of the divine reduces the
extraordinary to generic and creates upon it as an action. Not an
experiment to find out but an action based in knowing already. From
Giovanni Baptista Lamperti: "To know the result before you act is the
golden rule of sings."

I dont know, I rather think we would all be better off if we would stand up
to the challenge of learnig to be comfortable with just saying "I don't
know". I think it's the first step required on the journey to discovering
what is actually going on.
