I am, however, trying to write a book in which I will be trying to puzzle through to some fundamental features of economics, rather than use the sorts of emotive labels beloved of so many who seem to think that this is a way of explaining just how and why we have arrived where we are today.
During the next year or so, I will be scanning various articles which I come across which might be useful for me to think about for my book, and I don't at all mind posting these privately to any FWer who might be interested. I might also preface these articles with some brief remarks of my own. But this will probably be one-way traffic only, I'm afraid. I will not necessarily be able to deal with any replies. If any of the recipients want to copy the articles (but *not* my remarks) to Futurework, I cannot stop them, of course, and perhaps stimulate discussion there, but I do not wish to be quoted or to be mentioned personally in subsequent discussion on FW. I will, of course, follow any discussion on FW with interest but there will be one FWer whose postings I will not be reading, just in case "shit" or "garbage" appear again, whether describing my or others' thoughts.
Writing to Futurework has been part of most of my days for several years and I have greatly valued the discipline of having to think carefully about what I write. I have also valued the contributions of others. But this is possibly my last posting on FW because I cannot do so any longer without the possibility of "shit" or "garbage" being thrown at me again.
Best wishes to all,
Keith Hudson Keith Hudson, 6 Upper Camden Place, Bath, England
