Correct me if I am wrong, but ItemFormat can only handle horizontal
layout, not vertical. And VerticalItemSpacing can't define this either.
As far as I know, there's no way to achieve what this patch achieves using
the current vanilla fvwm.

I'd be glad to be wrong, though.
