Does FvwmIconMan provide an enclosed > Icon box much like MWM's Icon box? Yep, mostly. I have not so much experience with FvwmIconBox so I can't be 100% sure if it will fill your needs, but it's a enclosed box as you describe it. It can be also embeded into FvwmButtons so you can make compositions with FvwmIconMan, FvwmButtons and whatever you want. Most people use it to make a tipical taskbar, like the ones in the most (in)faomus desktops around) but that's just one of the ways you can use it. FvwmIconMan has it's own man page, this one is much shorter than the fvwm one and can be easily understood. It contains some examples as well. Anyway you could very well continue using FvwmIconBox if you like the way it works. There shouldn't be any problem, other than the lack of configuratbility. I personally find taskbars or iconboxes of any kind hard to work with, other's like taskbars, others like iconboxes, others like the default model of fvwm nowadays, which is lying the icons around over your root window. Whatever way is good if it suits you, it's my guess. ;) -- Jesús Guerrero <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
