Hi all,

fvwm is my standard window manager under plain Debian and Ubuntu. While
there were never problems in Debian, the focus handling under Ubuntu
began to fail since Ubuntu 8.04.

The effect is that xterm windows often will not receive the keyboard
focus when they get exposed because another window is closed above them,
or when the mouse cursor is moved into them after passing over some
other underlying window.

This is very annoying, because I start to type, and then notice that
nothing has happened. I need to move the mouse cursor out of that window
and back again to get the focus.

I'm using the default "mouse follows focus" mode.

I tried GNOMEIgnoreHints and several config variations without success.

Has anybody else observed this problem, or can give me any hints?.

Cheers,
- Alex
