Hmm, not sure. It seems to happen also when moving the mouse cursor between xterms, though less reproducible. It is really annoying, almost impossible to work. I wonder how to improve the situation. If nothing helps, I throw away Ubuntu and go back to plain Debian on my notebook, too. Cheers, - Alex
