If you think your problem is due to hostname resolution, you might consider adding an entry in the host file, so that IPSO can resolve the name locally. Using "clish" on the Nokia box you would use the following commands to add a host entry: > add host name <name> ipv4 <x.x.x.x> > save config At that point you should be able to "ping <name>" and have it ping the proper IP, then you can try cprestart to see if that fixes your problem. Of course you can use Voyager to add host name entries, too. Hope this helps. - -- David DeSimone == Network Admin == [EMAIL PROTECTED] "It took me fifteen years to discover that I had no talent for writing, but I couldn't give it up because by that time I was too famous. -- Robert Benchley -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGolhdFSrKRjX5eCoRAkTkAJ9ot80FsqHRkqxGB5i8LHgGTQeQWACeKJav Ew+zgBjmzWonL87IzhyEg94= =9oMi -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
