David,

If you have the error with ipconfig /all, you may have hardware problem or
your NIC driver is not for that NIC card. Try to check the "bind" tab in the
"Network" icon of "Control Panel", see if you NIC card is binding the TCP/IP
service properly.

Chad..

Thanks for the reply..

I guess I didn't present the information clearly... Let me attempt it
again.. :-)

interface Ip meaning something like this in route print

10.1.1.150 255.255.255.255 127.0.0.1

route print doesn't show the new NIC, where the other NICs show up with all
the other IP address assigned to them... for example

10.1.2.150 255.255.255.255 127.0.0.1
10.1.3.150 255.255.255.255 127.0.0.1
10.1.4.150 255.255.255.255 127.0.0.1

I was told that because the interface isn't showing up in print route.. NT
isn't detecting the NIC properly.. I also get errors with ipconfig /all, so
there is another issue as well....

David

David,

Sorry to jump into this thread so late, but the statement from below
"(interface IP (new NIC) 127.0.0.1)", thats not the ip address is it??
