Gauntlet no stateful inspection, more pre-defined services out of the box,
the vpn client actually works, **TRUE** enterprise support. Single
Management Server controlling multiple inspection/firewall modules is cost
effective, centralized logging, best in class VPN support, Hybrid IKE auth
methods, OPSEC... runs on many platforms, support built into many 3rd party
vendors, need I go on...
literally thousands of 3rd party plugins through CVP, etc,
Rainwall,Stonebeat
Do not underestimate what stateful inspection is... very powerful.
CheckPoint doesn't like to dirt besides point out what they do v/s the
competition... Their product speaks for itself.

Can anyone give me some dirt on Gauntlet (besides what Checkpoint's
Marketing materials give)? I need to ensure that a customer knows that
FW-1 is the way to go... I thought that they would appreciate that
Gauntlet is a Proxy that only supports 26 protocols, but any other info
would be very much appreciated!
