I seem to have the same situation. Do you use hide or static NAT?
When I tried to use static NAT, the pptp (tcp) trafic was NAT�ed OK, but the
GRE (IP=47) wasn�t (the hide address was inserted as source).

We have PPTP setup for external clients coming into our network, and this
works fine. However, I have a need to set up PPTP for an internal customer
going to an external contractor. We are doing NAT, and this seems to
compound the problem. The client initiates the conversation OK, but it
seems that when the PPTP server attempts to give the client an address to
tunnel with, we lose connection (although I see no drops on the fw).
Any gotchas? I'm running Solaris 7, Checkpoint 4.1, sp1.
