Most ISP's have some form of blocking going on. AT&T, Mindspring,
Earthlink, Prodigy, AOL, and many others all block port 25 traffic, other
than to their own SMTP server. AOL actually redirects ALL port 25 requests
to THEIR SMTP server. Many ISP's put caps on NNTP traffic. I have a 500K
connection, but am capped at 128k per NNTP connection by my ISP. Running a
portscanner thru your ISP against a machine running Nuke Nabber (Sets up
listening daemons on any port you ask) reveals interesting results. You may
be surprised what is blocked.

How could they call themselves "ISPs" if they start blocking
ports. I believe that ISPs are not allowed to blocking any kind
of information which is available out on the net be it p0rn or
anything else, if they are doing so then they would be breaching
there agreement to provide free flow of information...

This could be taken up with some authority which overlooks
ISPs...
