Hey Bill!

I took a look at the updated Zend Framework download page, and I noticed that you have put a link to our *wikificized* manual. Is this intentional? I love it ;-)!!

I must say that I really like the downloadable snapshots of the subversion repository. This way we will reach a bigger amount of people, that are willing to test incubator components and provide feedback. The Zend_Locale team for instance will be very happy with this, as they are desperately waiting for feedback/tests from the community.

Best regards,

Thanks everyone! I'm glad to join the Zend team and the larger Zend Framework community.

I had been looking for an opportunity to work on a project whose goal was to make it easier for the world to build web applications with greater quality, scalability, and security. I was pleased to discover a true open-source effort with exactly this goal.

I look forward to learning more about what all of you are doing, and to assist the team by maintaining information about the project, tracking the priorities, and contributing in many ways to the success of the project.

One update I've just deployed is a minor redesign of our Zend Framework download page:
http://framework.zend.com/download/
It includes a new page for downloadable zip and tarball snapshots of the Subversion repository. This will give evaluators a more current view of the technology, without requiring them to use Subversion directly.
