Well, yeah, but the Eee really starts with a 2Gb model. The fact that
you have to move up the Eee offering to find something more comparable
with the starting HP offering is kind of my point.

I can't imagine but that it runs significantly hotter, too.

Ah. Ok, I was under the impression that it was a 5 cell battery with
3.5 official hours of battery life when you pay a premium, and since
Rob has mention he gets 3 practical hours of use on his Eee...

But of course, HAVING the option is definitely a plus.
