Hmmm, ok, granted. Asus's market isn't limited to lower price ranges,
but in my mind that's the part of this that is most exciting, the
really cheap computers that bring laptop computing into the economic
grasp of a lot of people who before may not have considered buying a
computer.

Tiny laptops are neat and all, but it's the fact that they're
affordable that interests me most.

Ought, indeed. I guess that might be enough for me, though, if it can
suspend and make that battery-full of power last a full day of light
duty as a secondary computer.

P.S. So, I keep a lot of tabs going in Firefox, and they all open up
when I run Firefox. Apparently the hotel I'm staying at detects that
generally large number of web requests as "malicious behavior", so
they shut down my ethernet port completely so I had to call and get
them to let me back on. Twice.

"Yeah, usually if you have, like, 4 tabs, you're fine, any more than
that and our system has problems..."

Anyone else ever have this sort of thing happen?

On the plus side, I was able to say "I'm not getting a DHCP lease here
at such room in such hotel." and the lady answered "You're not getting
an IP address? Ok, let my check on something...ok, unplug your
computer and plug it back in and you should be able to get that
lease." rather than "Give me a minute. What version of Windows are you
running? I need to go through my script."
