Yes, that's the problem. 14" iBooks have the identical same screen  
resolution as 12" iBooks, so you're lugging around a lot more, and  
getting nothing extra except a bigger, heavier laptop with a less  
expensive LCD with larger pixel size. In my mind the ONLY reason to  
get a 14" iBook is if it's substantially cheaper than an equivalent 12".
