Thanks to all for the added input. I started just briefly looking at the models this morning, and so far I am liking what I see with the 15" Powerbook G4. I like having the PC card slot, FW 400 and 800, and Gigabit ethernet, at least on some models. The only thing I see in favor of the iBook right now is the battery life.
There do seem to be multiple models, which I haven't checked out yet. Any pointers or warnings I should watch out for?
