Hi Simon, A while ago I upgraded my Pismo (Tiger 10.4.11 & 1GB RAM) with Daystar XLR8 550 MAChSpeed (http://daystar-store.com/ xlr8550machspeedg4pismocpuupgradekit.aspx)
I can't say I noticed any real change - in fact I was very disappointed. Excuse my utter ignorance, but I'm hoping that I might be able to get more speed with the combo updater you mention. One problem: where do I get it from.
