Hi Simon,

I'm now the proud owner of Tom's G4 upgraded Lombard (hi, Tom!). It is
definitely zippier, and very stable. It's noticeably faster than my
500Mhz G3 Pismo --although this one has a whole gig of RAM, and the
Lombard is maxed out at 512Mb.

The Lombard's G4 upgrade is only 466mhz, so combine the 550mhz G4
upgrade for the Pismo with double the memory, and the maths' easy.

FastMac and Wegener Media also sell G4 upgrades for the Pismo. You
might wanna check them out.

Love your columns in Low End Mac, by the way.

Good luck,

Felix
