Brian Modding the Leopard DVD is hard. Search Google for 'Leopard G4 Hack' and you can download the patched files from a ThePirateBay.
Modding the Tiger DVD is as easy as tweaking a line using TextEdit. The instructions for modifying the Leopard OSInstall.mpkg won't work for the Tiger version due to the change in packaging systems that both OS' respectively use. Leopard uses Xar and requires you to jump through a few more hoops than Tiger does. The best tip I've found for Tiger thusfar is at http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20051211074138859&query=OSInstall.mpkg Brian --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
