I've had good luck removing Sharpie marker from plastics using starter fluid (bought in an aerosol can in auto parts stores) applied sparingly onto a paper towel used to clean the markered surface. I haven't tried it on translucent plastics, though -- may make them cloudy-looking. Test first on an inconspicuous area. Use in a well ventilated room or outside -- starter fluid contains ether, which was once used as a general anesthesia for surgeries. And don't smoke or light candles until the ether fumes have dissipated. ;-) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
