I've used "white pads" to remove permanent marker from laser printer cases, so it should work the same on a plastic laptop case. They work very quickly and thoroughly. One brand name is "Mr. Clean Magic Pads," but identical pads are available for less money as store brands and at some dollar stores. Look for "Made in Germany" printed on the package. Some are thinner and attached to an even thinner blue sponge, and some are thicker and all the same material.
Caution: they are mildly abrasive, so test on a small spot to make sure they don't leave scratches. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's G-Books list, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
