Safari on a functionally equivalent system (my G4 desktop)

Safari wasn't running the last time it happened, hadn't been run since
the last restart.

This logic board (and computer!) has a history...at some point someone
fried the firewire ports.

Literally, there are two black scorch marks where there used to be
surface mounted components just inboard of the FW ports. I thought the
issue was confined to just non-functioning FW ports (and it has
functioned just fine for quite a while, I have to disable the FW kexts
to get it to sleep.) but something else may have been damaged along
the line.

The rest of the computer is a 867Mhz Tibook that had a dead logic
board, dead battery and no hdd that was given to me for parts, so it's
a real franken-mac.

I probably need to start shopping around for a replacement system or
mobo, if I can find one cheaply.
