Does anybody know if there is a hack for playing a DVD-ROM in a
Clamshell 300 mhz iBook. I know the 466 mhz models will do fine as
they came with a DVD-ROM, but after I installed a combo drive in a 300
mhz Clamshell, I received an error message when I inserted a DVD into
the drive. BTW the DVD disk mounted on the desktop and even
recognized the movie title, but it would not play. I've seen some
discussion that states that the 4 meg video RAM is the issue, but
didn't Wallstreets have DVD modules and they had only 2 - 4 megs of
RAM? Anyway, I'd appreciate your thoughts on this.
