Thanks for the suggestion, Stewie. I gave it a shot with no luck. I'm beginning to think that the slot loader from my Intel mini is demanding more in terms of hardware that my little Clamshell can deliver. I'm considering going back to the original combo drive I started to use. The main problem I was having was getting it to physically open and close without the bezel. I may try to buy a bezel on the Swap List and try to mod it and glue it onto the tray. The only issue I've had with changing out the optical drive cage/harness is the little adhesive styrofoam gasket on the bottom of the original drive. Is this important? If so, I'm going to have to get creative. Thanks for everyone's input.
