No G3 or G4 iBooks had a separate PRAM battery. Instead, they used the internal 
battery. Apple advised owners they had about 15-20 seconds to do a battery swap 
in order to not lose PRAM settings. Seems there's a capacitor that holds a 
charge long enough to permit this.
