I tried this on my Pismo (OX 10.4.11) and it's certainly a much easier
way to get to the logs than navigating to them in the finder.

I'm curious because I've been having trouble waking from sleep if I
leave a USB stick plugged into the KVM switch / USB hub.

Nothing interesting this time though there was one line on start up
that looked wrong.

Next time it freezes I'll send you guys the log.
For now I just try and remember to remove the stick before the machine sleeps.

On the subject of USB sticks is there a way to keep the hidden files
from being written to removable media?  Don't want to confuse my
Windows friends....
