Forgot to mention that my cable was pinched at one point too—seriously
crimped my reception. If your cable is pinched, that could be the
problem. All I had to do was get the cable in the right orientation,
but with my 14" PB, that is a pretty easy job. Compared to my old
Clamshell, this Pismo is a dream to work inside. I hear the new
MacBooks are even better, though the fact that everything is basically
owner-proofed is kind of irritating.
