i'm running os x 10.3.9 and i have checked inside the machine and
under the dial up modem. there seems to be no crimping on the airport
cable. The airport card stopped working just before i downgraded from
tiger to panther. it worked in Tiger when i connected to my mac mini
(intel) . i don't have a wifi router i just used the airport to
communicate between the two computers. i deleted the /Library/
Preferences/SystemConfiguration folder but i has made no difference ,
it still doesn't get signal from my mac and visa-versa . in the system
profiler it sees the airport card fine, it just doesn't get signal.
could this be remedied by buying a new airport card?
