Clark, Congrats on the excellent work! Now I have an idea why my current wireless setup wasn't available to my Macs equipped with original Airport cards.
My workaround was creating an unsecured guest network, so they can connect to the Internet. They cannot connect among themselves anymore, or to the ones in the main network (well, they can, but it takes a whole intervention), but that's a small price to pay, since I rarely do any real work in them, anyway, beyond watching a movie in bed, or browsing the Web.
