OK I've created the comp network on the MDD. I have Airport turned on
on the MDD connected to the MDD network, also it has an Ethernet
connection to the router. In the Internet pane I tell it to share the
Ethernet connection to computers using Airport.
I connect to the MDD via AirPort from my Wally ( I gave up on the
iBook for now because it's got 10.1 and the wally is 10.4.11) I can
do all normal sharing stuff but it will not let me connect to the
net? Does this look right so far?
Start by pinging the router.
Post the Wallstreets IP info from the Network System Preference. There
may be a problem with those settings.
What error message do you get when you try to go to the Internet?
From you description, my best guess is that the Wallstreet isn't
getting the right DNS server address.
