After trying out a 12in AlBook for a couple days, i can second this comment. I thought the TiBook was bad, I think the Al is actually worse!
Now, on the subject of the iBook, those laptops had fantastic range. My little icebook got better range than friends who had "high power" PCMCIA cards in their PC laptops back in the day, and the first PC laptop I used that did better than the ibcok was my work Latitude. I am quite interested to see how the new MacBooks do...
