Hi all--now that the panic of killing off my Wallstreet has subsided, I went
back and tied the re-set again. Shift-function-control and then power...right?
Well, this time I got something--I tried both the original AC adapter and the
new one I bought in case the older one had been killed off.  Both of them
produced some results- but it is apparent whatever it is, is intermittent.Seems
as if an actual connection is sporadic at best.  The green light in the hinge
area does flash on (and then off, but...) and often there is a flash of gray on
the screen--and a lot of whirring...but eventually back to nothing.  If I
giggle the power cord things will (in various combinations) repeat, but still
nothing solid and no boot up--any idea of where I should look?
  Thanks
  Sheryl
