I'd go for a minimum of a 20Gb hard drive preferably like Pat a 40Gb. That also depends on what you plan to use the Wally for too. If you plan on running iTunes with a big music library and also storing lots of photos then obviously you'll need a much bigger hard drive. I'd also look at getting a faster HD than what is probably a 4200RPM drive in there at the moment. I went from my original 4Gb 4200 drive and OS 8.6 to a 20Gb 5400RPM drive and OS10.2 to now a 80Gb 7200 RPM HD and Tiger. Each upgrade resulted in probably a 10-15% increase in speed so bear that in mind too. Compare 4200, 5400 and 7200 RPM drives in a Powerbook http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/IDE/hitachi_travelstar60GB_7200/travelstar60GB_7200rpm.html Finally I upgraded the CPU to a Sonnet G4/550 and now at a guess I would say it is slightly faster than my Pismo with 1Gb Ram ( compared to my Wallys 512mb max ) Stewie _________________________________________________________________ Need a new place to live?
