Thanks for the suggestions Felix!
1) For internet browsing and email, give Classilla a try. Funny you should
mention it- I have a file on the iMac desktop- labeled Clasilla 9.1, but I have
never gotten further than that (dead Wallstreet). As it is- I would need to
figure out how to get it TO the Wallstreet since the iMac won't "do" floppy or
zip--I'd need that thumb drive and then USB capability to get the file TO the
Wallstreet!! Ah, I try to plan ahead
2) There are plenty of good wireless cards out there. Cheap, too.
Thanks for the specifics- will add them to my lists!
You can get all of the above used in the LEM Swap List, eBay, and
other venues, and won't set you back much.Where do I find the LEM Swap list?
Or you can sell your
Wallstreet for parts and get a newer, more versatile machine --a
Pismo, say. Poor baby- that sounds like vivisection!!
Remember, although it's not advisable to spend a lot on
these all beasts, it all depends on how attached are you to them. I
have a tricked out Wallstreet and I love it, and because of that fact
I have spent on it more money than it's reasonable.Yeah- but one thing I like
is that I COULD spend the money slowly and not in a lump--as I would HAVE to do
if I went to a newer machine.
Again-- thanks-- Sheryl (and the hunt begins...)
