Hi Jeremiah,
So far it is looking like there is some agreement on at least 20 GB hard
drive and 10.3-- then Firefox or Classilla. I need to decide what I want to
shoot for and then how much it will cost-- bearing in mind my Wallstreet is
still pretty much dead! But, I am getting the information I was hunting for to
make a considered decision! (Uses- typing letters, checking email--nothing much
more than that and maybe..just maybe getting the module to watch dvds not sure
on this since there does not seem to be much in the way of comments on the
image quality or lack there of!)
Thank you.
Sheryl
I personally have the Pismo, but I want the Wallstreet too. With the way the
web pages are set up now you will need atleast OS X 10.3.9 with FireFox 2. They
are not capable of OS X 10.4 so 10.3 is your only option. you need atleast 6GB
of space for 10.3 so I reccomend getting alteast a 20GB hard drive if you plan
to use it for anything other than surfing the web. RAM upgrade is required too!
