Uh- if I am keeping track correctly- I need a card for wireless...a card for
the DVD, a card for USB--and that is only the ones I have identified as
suggestions.  Um...er...doesn't that mean three slots?  I have never used any
of them--but there are only two of which I am aware.  So- if anyone has done
all these activities at one time (or must you simply swap out something like
the DVD card when not using the module??) am I missing the way to do it?
Slowly but surely getting san idea of what is possible.

I agree John.
My Wally runs Tiger fine too.
The best improvement to any computer whether laptop or desktop is
1) max the ram ( 512mb in this case )
2) whip out the old slow hard drive for something bigger and faster ( 2-4-6Gb
and 4200 RPM  to 20-40-60Gb and 5400 or 7200 RPM )
3) upgrade the processor to something faster either stock Apple or a G3/G4
Sonnet.
I've done this to my Wally and just about every other computer I own and they
all run a heck of a lot faster than the original specs allowing me to run later
OS's and more modern apps at a better speed.

Okay- good concrete guidelines upon which to cogitate!!
Thanks-- Sheryl
