Hi Bruce,
Um--I do not have a camera--so no image is available- and since the 8 pins
from the printer cable plug into the Wallstreet.... I am trying to decide what
to do--so until I do that--no buying anything (remember- my Wallstreet is
dead-so I nedd to figure out if I wannt to get it fixed--if so what do i
want...if not- what other Mac will connect to the printer? That is how this
thing got starated- and so far it looks as if I may settle for a lot le$$ than
I had hoped--got to get it fixed first and than maybe I'll settle.... So that
SCSI will not work (ie. so far no other model pops up with this port).

Just in case the listers aren't getting it from your description, why not post
a photo of the back of your laptop so we can see the ports. However, I'd tend
to trust LowEndMac's descriptions of macs: I've never known them to be wrong
about such details.
If I cannot find something that reliably is the "right" port, I will have to
check every model to see what others have this specific type- anyone have any
idea less labor intensive?
Why not get a PC card for one of the Wally's slots to give the Wally some USB
ports? Then you will have a much wider choice of printers, no matter what
operating system you eventually get the Wally to run?

See above- I am trying to decide whether or not to repair the Wallstreet- if
so, what do I want added in? If not- what other model will connect and
communicate with the pointer---So no buying anything at all until I make that
first decision- I love my Wallstreet- but what is the price tag going to be--or
IS it the only one with a simple way to connect with the printer (i.e. it
actually HAS the right port!!)
cheers
Bruce

Thanks for the information!

Sheryl
